"Some of the small paintings" - 1 of 3

Here's an update on my progress here at the Herbert Hoover National Historic Site as the artist-in-residence.  I can't tell you how much work I've been  able to take care of in the past couple of weeks so I thought I'd just show you.  Knowing that I've had this given amount of time to just focus on the painting process, my productivity has gone into second gear.  My hope is that I'll be able to relax a little bit and concentrate on the business end of things once I'm back home.  We'll see.

I'll post some of the pieces to my website and in future blog posts for a closer look in the coming weeks.  For now I hope you can appreciate how busy I've been.

"Pieces from my sky series" - 3 of 3

Here's a teaser photo of the pieces from my sky series titled "Partly Cloudy" that I've been working on for a show at Findlay University this fall.  I'm sorry but I didn't want to show my entire hand just yet.  It's hard to tell in the photo but there are 12 pieces ready to go... so far.

Thank you for coming to Iowa and sharing your amazing gifts with us. I feel fortunate to have been able to meet you and admire your work. I still can't believe you finished that painting in an hour right before my eyes, while answering my millions of questions.

We wish you continued success as you share your gifts with the world, it was inspiring to witness.

Thank you,

Heidi and Garry

Thank you Heidi and Garry. It was a pleasure to meet you both and I hope that you continue to stay in touch. I'll let you both get back to painting now.
