I just want to thank everyone that attended my opening at the Gateway Arts Council in Sidney, OH. It was a nice turnout with a lot of positive feedback. If you're in the Ohio area and you weren't able to make the opening the show will be up until July 27th with quite a few new paintings that have not been posted.
Now that I can check the show off of my to do list, there's time to take a working vacation. This morning, despite the tranquil crashing waves of the coast, I was able to get up in time to do a little plein air painting. It's hard not to be inspired by the beach. I think I see another series in the making.

Excellent to hear the turnout was good and the feedback was positive... of course it would be! Wish I was a little closer to OH or I would have been there.
Oh yeah.. You can't go wrong with beach paintings!
