The Center of the Universe is a Nut

For the next two weeks I'll be in Columbus, OH (supposedly the center of the universe). Aside from the crazy Ohio State fanatics it's not a bad place. I've found some of the most beautiful landscapes throughout the area. Fortunately for me there are several aesthetic treats for me as a painter. There are run down barns, broken trucks and rural gems all over the place. Although it doesn't come across in this particular painting, the skies in Columbus are always filled with just the kind of fluffy clouds that I like to paint. This scene I came across on route 33 while driving to Columbus.
