"The Hopper House" - 6" x 6" - oil
Sold
Last week was a slow news week for me. With a couple of sales, I can report that the Art at the Mill event in Berryville, VA was fairly successful. I had reservations about entering the show again because I hadn't had any sales from the three previous times that I participated. Like so many of these events, it takes time to build up a reputation/fan base before buyers/collectors start looking for you.

Great painting! I was surprised to see the size. It has the presence of a much larger painting. I had it at about 30x30.
Wow, that's about the size that I planned on making the larger version of this one. Thanks Jill!
This really caught my eye; everything in it is just right. I do hope you do a larger version because it would be stunning!
Thanks Kerri, I've got a big show in November and this is definately on the to-do list.
Oooo! This is really lovely! I thought it was a much larger painting at first glance. There's such a sense of openness and space to it...so evocative.
This one caught my eye yesterday on Scuttlebutt. I really like it a lot.
Good to hear the Art at the Mill was successful.
Let's hope business continues to pick up for all of us.
Beautiful painting, like the rest of your art.
Beautiful. Incredible light. I reall love those deep grassy shadows in the foreground.
lol, and just caught the title. (am so slow....)
Thank you Kathleen..I think that business will get better for everyone as long as we as artists don't get too deserate.
Thank you Glenda, Diana and Liz for your compliments. I'm excited to see how I work on this piece larger.
