"Grazing #2" - 5" x 7" - oil
For the past year, I've felt this enormous pressure to get a "real job." I've been fortunate enough to teach part time for the past five years and continue my career as an artist but the pressure is still there to do more. As an added reminder of my need to "make something of myself " I'll be receiving my official MFA degree this Mother's Day at the Marywood University graduation. The only way I know how to deal with all of this is to completely engulf myself in my work. Painting is the only thing that takes the pressure off...even if it means painting a cow.

Hey Steve,...really dig the cow. This would make a great large painting. Any plans for that? Anyway, good drawing and awesome colors!
