"German Village #1" - 24" x 30" - oil
Here we are at the end of another year and with that comes the start of a new one. For the most part, we all know that not much actually changes at the stroke of midnight. Basically we have to take care of our taxes and find a new cat calendar. Like every year I try be realistic about the coming year and hope that it's better than the last one.
Earlier today I was asked what people could expect out of Steven in 2010. My response was that I was going to be more productive (painting and marketing) and a kinder person but now that I've thought about it those aren't realistic goals. I'll just stick to being more productive. The latter seems like a bit of a stretch.

Hi, Steven
I really like the light/dark contrast in this and the strength of the abstract shapes. I just found your blog and enjoy studying your work!
